DemiFire Win Free Search Engine Optimisation Service from Impact Media

During our recent Business South show, we ran a competition for visitors to our stand to win a free ’starter’ Search Engine Optimisation Service.

We’ve now made the draw and the lucky winner was Steve McGrill of DemiFire Ltd. DemiFire are a leading Fire Safety solutions company based in Fareham, Hampshire. They offer a range of training, consultancy and testing services for companies with a responsibility for fire safety in the workplace.

We will now schedule in the free SEO service for DemiFire and look forward to increasing their site’s visibility in the search engines.

Business South 2008

Impact Media are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at Business South 2008 being hosted at the new St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton across the 5th and 6th of March.

This exhibition is aimed at UK businesses and every company there could potentially help your business do more, faster and easier so it is well worth a few hours out of the office.

Indexing speeds up in Google

Google is now taking minutes to index web pages instead of days according to a recent article by Manoi Jasra for Search Engine Guide. This is probably Google’s response to the fast paced blogging trends that mean content on the internet is now being updated at a much faster rate.

This goes to show that your content can be indexed and appearing in Google’s search results faster than ever which is great news for web site owners with fast moving content that want to get their news to the internet as fast as possible.

Online advertising will grow by 85 per cent

Online Advertising will grow by 85% between 2006 and 2009 according to figures from ZenithOptimedia.

It is becoming clear that businesses in the UK are recognising the benefits associated with marketing their websites on the internet. This is not limited to big businesses either even smaller businesses are getting on board.

Linus Gregoriadis of e-consultancy told DirectTrafficMedia that local search is becoming ever more popular with small and medium-sized businesses and providing them with new and expansive opportunities to advertise their products.
