People looking for a little help when cooking a meal can now turn to Microsoft’s Bing search engine, which has a recipe search function

Bing 'Helps Out in the Kitchen' Kristin Meldahl wrote on the company’s official blog that people can use these SEO services to find the right meal from several different sources, such as MyRecipes.com, delish.com and epicurious.com.

She explained that users can organise search results in a variety of ways, depending on what sort of dish they are trying to put together.

Ms Meldahl noted that she has a 10-month-old infant at home, so she likes the results to be listed in order of convenience, but people can also have them sorted by other topics, such as user ratings or themes.

"In response to a few of your comments … if you are not seeing the recipe results, try adding the word ‘recipe’ to the end of your search query," she added.

Last week, the company revealed that it has launched an enhanced version of its Bing Health search tool.
